Society of U. S. Air Force Flight Surgeons

Society of U.S. Air Force Flight Surgeons

Thank you for visiting the webpage of the Society of United States Air Force Flight Surgeons (SoUSAFFS). As the largest constituent member organization of the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA), we represent all Air Force flight surgeons: active duty, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, and retired. This society is here to advance education, cross-talk, mentoring, and networking among flight surgeons.

Started in 1960, the SoUSAFFS includes members who helped develop US Air Force aerospace medicine to what it has become today. Many of these members are icons in aerospace medicine. If you are not a member, please join the society and AsMA and become that future aerospace medicine icon.

The society is always looking for talent. If you are willing to work on a committee, please volunteer. We are looking for your talents.

As a flight surgeon, you have the best job in the USAF. Enjoy the flight!
