ALPA: The Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), issued a statement recently praising the U.S. House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Committee introduction of the Fair and Open Skies Act. ALPA thanked the Representatives involved in creating and sponsoring the legislation. They also requested that Congress protect labor rights, safety, and the competitiveness of the U.S. airline industry by passing the Act. Martin-Baker: South Korea’s first indigenous fighter jet prototype was unveiled in early April. These fighter jets will be fitted with Martin-Baker Mk-18 ejection seats. They are proud to be a part of this project and to support South Korea and their air force in this, which is a significant milestone for them.
