Recognizing accessibility as a strategic pillar of the global aviation system, the 2026 Symposium will provide a forum to advance dialogue and commitment to implementation of accessibility measures across the entire air transport journey. The theme is “Advancing Global Commitment to Inclusive and Universally Accessible Air Transport for All.”

The Aeromedical Society of Australasia (ASA), together with Flight Nurses Australia (FNA), will deliver an energising program of inspiring keynote speakers, thought-provoking presentations, hands-on learning, and exceptional opportunities to connect with colleagues from across Australasia and beyond. The 2026 theme is "Critical Care In The Air: Remote, Real & Relentless."

Save the date for the 2026 RAeS Aerospace Medicine Group Annual Symposium - traditionally the one day of the year where the whole aerospace medicine community comes together. The symposium will be followed by the Stewart Memorial Lecture in the evening.

This event will occur in tandem with the 10th Chronic Hypoxia Symposium. From neuroscience and genomics to biodiversity, artificial intelligence, and sports medicine, these symposiums bring together diverse perspectives on chronic hypoxia and high-altitude science.
