Snyder Interviewed by Washington Post

Dr. Quay Snyder, AsMA Fellow and President and CEO of Aviation Medicine Advisory Service (AMAS), was interviewed for an article in the Washington Post about staying healthy while flying.

The interview touches on subjects such as cabin air, where to sit, and moving around to prevent deep vein thrombosis. Overall, flying is safe, so using common sense during a trip will help smooth things. Dr. Snyder was the 2016 recipient of the Boothby-Edwards Award from AsMA for, in part, his work promoting health, prevention of disease, and medical certification of airline pilots internationally.
