Charles Joins Space Center Houston

John B. Charles, Ph.D., a Fellow of AsMA, has become Space Center Houston’s first scientist in residence.

   A 33-year veteran of NASA, Dr. Charles was formerly the Chief Scientist of the Human Research Program at NASA Johnson Space Center. In his new position, he will assist in producing exhibits, presentations, experiential activities, and curriculum using the latest space research. His career at NASA and enthusiasm for space allows him to demystify spaceflight for the general public. He will also regularly appear on the Thought Leader Series to speak about current endeavors, historic milestones, and the future of space exploration.
