Online Journal (for the archives, click here)


Members MUST log in at the top of this page and then click on "Members Section" in the top right corner under your name. Once you are on the Members Only page, then  click on the 'AsMA JOURNAL ONLINE' or 'AsMA JOURNAL ARCHIVES' links in the left-hand column under 'MEMBER SERVICES'. DON'T click on the 'Journal' tab - that will take you to the public page.  

The journal from 2003 (Vol. 74) to present is available through IngentaConnect. Just click on the logo below. There is only one step necessary to gain access:
  • Non-Members: Click on the link below. There is a fee for articles less than 1 year old. Older articles are free for up to 5 years, after which they will revert to pay-per-view.
  • Individual members: The online Journal is included in your membership. You only need to log into the Members' Only page from the top right-hand corner of this page. Then click on  the Journal online link on the left-hand side under Member Services. You do not need to register with Ingenta.
  • Institutional subscribers: Your online Journal is included. However, you will still need to register with Ingenta.

Journal Archives Online


These archives contain articles from 1929 (Vol. 1) to 2002 (Vol. 73) of the journal.
  • Non-Members: Please click on the logo below for the online AsMA Library containing the archives of the Aerospace Medical Association journals. If this your first time visiting the archives, you will need to create an account and have the option for pay-per-view.
  • Members: Please log into the Members only page using the login at the top right-hand corner of this page to access the archives. Then click on  the Archives online link on the left-hand side under Member Services.
  • Subscribers: Subscribers to Aerospace Medicine and Human Performance have access to the archives online as part of the subscription contract. You will need to create a free account in the system first. When creating your Subscriber Account please enter "ASMA2019" as the subscriber code.
       Admin will have access from anywhere. User access will be provided by IP address range. Users will have to be using computers within that range to access materials. It does not transfer to individuals and is site specific; i.e., no multi-site licenses are available. There will be a separate admin username and password for administrators and a separate username and password for users.
