Dr. Richard Sumrall recently developed an indexing system that organizes all "You're the Flight Surgeon" offerings since 1990. He indexed the condition discussed in each article by general body system into categories organized in alphabetical order.
The categories are: aeromedical, allergic, cancer, cardiac, dermatologic, endocrine, ENT, gastroenterologic, general, hematologic, infectious, musculoskeletal, neurologic, ophthalmic, psychological, pulmonary, renal, rheumatologic, and toxic.

"You're the Flight Surgeon" offers clinical and operational vignettes that test Aerospace Medicine professionals' skills. Each issue of Aviation, Space, and Environmental Medicine provides the "You're the Flight Surgeon" section.
The Aerospace Medical Association’s 2015 Annual Scientific Meeting will be held in Lake Buena Vista, FL. This year’s theme is “Making a Difference in Aerospace Medicine.” We encourage presentations from diverse experts that will enhance the world’s knowledge and understanding of the current challenges in Aerospace Medicine.
