Abstract
The papers in this section of the workshop describe behavioral and performance changes in isolated and confined extreme (ICE) environments. These changes include increased disturbances of mood, rates of psychiatric disorder, and interpersonal tension, and a disruption of circadian rhythms. The workshop ended with four specific recommendations for future research.Information on subscribing, and on obtaining copies of an article or of an entire issue.
